Two Canadian border guards suffered minor accidents after being hit by a automobile whereas doing their job on the Canadian entry level from the USA in Coutts, Alta on Saturday, police mentioned.

RCMP Milk River assisted emergency medical companies in responding to the incident.

Police detained the driving force of the automobile and held him in a holding cell pending investigation, police mentioned.

Milk River resident Kacha Miller, 50, was charged with two counts of assaulting a regulation enforcement officer with a weapon, harmful driving, and obstructing a regulation enforcement officer.

Miller was launched and can stand trial at Lethbridge on 12 June.
