A landslide swept down Freeway 97 close to Summerland on Monday night, blocking the highway in each instructions.
Clouds of mud and dust may very well be seen rising into the air after the primary slide crashed into the freeway.
The landslide occurred close to Lake Shore Drive South in Summerland, between town and Penticton.
Crews have been despatched to the scene to conduct an examination. The explanation for the slip just isn’t but recognized.
Drive BC warned individuals of great delays. It’s not but recognized when the route will open.
